Updated Pricing and Taxes for Canadians

As 2020 comes to an end, we would like to thank all our supporters and our customers for their continued support. This year we have received the biggest growth in sales and overall orders since our site first opened in 2017. As a full time student, it's been very difficult to both study and work at the same time. In 2021 we hope to expand our team to reduce bottlenecks in the process (For Example: shipping and receiving). Since our business has grown significantly this year, we will be changing how the backend of the business works.

Changes to our Tax Policy

As some customers have noted, we have begun our transition to implementing explicit tax values at checkout. If you are in Canada and purchasing items on our site, you will be charged sales tax. For example, in Ontario it would be 13%.

Why add tax now?

To provide our accounting team with accurate information on how much sales tax has been collected at the end of the year, we will need to charge tax explicitly at checkout, so we are able to account for that properly.

Pricing Adjustments

Moving Forward in 2021

In January of 2021 we hope to release an important newsletter regarding our goals for 2021 as well as some milestones we had in 2020. The newsletter will include a major backend announcement for us in addition to teasers to any upcoming projects we may have so please stay tuned for that.
